*Overview:*
The Clothesline, a local full-service downtown laundromat, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assistant Manager to join the team.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for representing the business in a leadership role with customers, team members, and vendors.
*Responsibilities:*
- Drive day-to-day operations of The Clothesline and serve as the primary Guest Services Laundry Attendant.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, residential and commercial laundry according to established procedures
- Lead the team in a supportive manner and be responsible for team scheduling, coverage, training, and coaching
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Provide superior customer service and maintain exceptional cleanliness standards
- Master point-of-sale, cashiering, and troubleshoot all business equipment as necessary
- Seek efficiencies for a sustainable and scalable business model
- Support sales and marketing, as necessary
*Requirements:*
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to lead a team and serve the community
- Monday-Friday daytime shifts (7AM-3PM), w/flexibility to support gaps/lead the team during evening/weekend shifts, as necessary
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Superior integrity and ethics
- Customer service experience
- Team lead/assistant managerial experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk/bend/push/pull
- Computer literacy
- Clean driving record
